SHIPPING POLICY

Shipping Deadlines

Orders will generally ship out within one business day.  Expedited orders may ship out the same day as ordered depending on when the order is received.

Carriers

Universal Spartan ships by UPS or USPS for domestic orders, and UPS, USPS or FEDEX for international orders.  Unless otherwise specified, orders will be shipped by standard UPS Ground service.  Please note that certain product that is classified ORMD will not be shipped by air under any circumstances.

Freight Costs

Universal Spartan will add freight charges to the customer's invoice for all orders, unless otherwise specifically agreed to before the order is shipped.

Parcel Insurance

Universal Spartan will insure parcels at the published carrier insurance rate and bill the customer unless otherwise instructed by the customer in writing.  Should the customer choose to self insure, Universal Spartan has no liability for lost or damaged parcels, once the parcel leaves any of our warehouses.

International Shipments

Please note that certain products and brands distributed by Universal Spartan are not available for export.  Check with your sales representative for details.

STANDARD RETURN POLICY

You can initiate a return for most new and unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund.  You must return items in new or unused condition with all original materials included with the shipment. We must receive your returned items after you have contacted us and we give you our address within 30 days of delivery.  If the return is a result of our error or defective product, we will refund the full cost of the merchandise and shipping charges.  If you initiate a return after 30 days, Universal Spartan will charge a 15% restocking fee on merchandise in new or unused condition.

*You must initiate the return within 30 days of delivery.  You can expect to receive your refund within four weeks of shipping your package back to us.  In many cases you will receive a refund sooner, but we estimate four weeks due to the time required for return shipping (up to 14 days), product inspection (up to 5 business days), and processing from your bank or credit card company (up to 5 business days).  We will notify you via email with the details of your refund, during all stages, and issue your refund in the form of payment used to make your purchase. 

REFUND POLICY               

We inspect all returned items when they arrive at our location.  We refund the full cost of the merchandise and all original shipping charges if your return is a result of our error or defective product.

If the return is not a result of our error and you initiate a return of an unopened item within 30 days of delivery, we refund the full cost of the merchandise only and the buyer is responsible for original and return shipping charges.

If you return an item that has been opened or shows signs of use, we will issue a partial refund based on our judgement on the amount of use and used value.  Buyer is responsible for original and return shipping charges.  Products decrease in value over time.

REFUNDS ARE NOT AVAILABLE ON ITEMS 30 DAYS AFTER DELIVERY.

DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS AND RETURNS DUE TO OUR ERROR

Defective items, items damaged at the time of receipt, and incorrect items received may be returned without penalty.  Your shipping charges will be waived.

When we receive your return, we will inspect the item and provide a replacement or issue a refund. If the product is not found to be defective, shipping fees will apply and/or a partial refund maybe issued.

Universal Spartan will confirm with you by email or telephone that your request has been received and forward you a UPS or FedEx return label as an attachment to the email for return of the item(s).
